May 14, 2026 v1.3.7

Edit your own meets, smarter flyer time reading, and a Home hero that doesn't lose track of you

Version 1.3.7 is a small follow-up to v1.3.6. Meet creators can now edit or delete their own meets without bothering an admin, flyer scans pull cleaner times, and Home stops hiding a meet you're already attending.

  • Edit and delete your own meets. Tap one of your created meets from your profile and open the three-dot menu in the top right. Edit lets you fix the address, time, cover photo, description, host name, and links. Delete asks for confirmation and removes the meet for everyone.
  • End times stick on Edit. If you set 9 to 11 in the editor, the meet card now shows 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. It was previously saving the start time twice and writing 9 to 9.
  • Flyer scans pull cleaner times. When you scan an event flyer to create a meet, the AI now reads time in a format the app understands. AM and PM are inferred from flyer context: Cars & Coffee defaults to AM, track nights default to PM. Result: Home countdown and "starts at" labels work on flyer-pre-filled meets instead of falling back to midnight.
  • Home shows your next attending meet even if it's far out. If you RSVPed to a meet a month from now, Home was hiding it because it sat outside the "coming soon" window. Now it surfaces regardless of how far out the meet is.
  • Bug fixes and UI/UX updates. Smaller polish items across meet editing and Home meet rendering.
May 1, 2026 v1.3.6

Smarter notifications, sharper Home meets, and quicker garage access

Version 1.3.6 is a focused quality patch: notifications now tell you what was actually spotted or scheduled, the Home screen stops hiding meets the day they happen, and the garage feels like it was meant to be used.

  • Richer push notifications. New spots now read like "Ferrari 458 spotted in Lehi, Utah" instead of a generic state-only blurb. New meets read "Cars & Coffee in Lehi, Utah". Tapping any of them opens the post directly instead of just landing you on Home.
  • Home shows meets all day, not just the night before. The countdown strip now ticks down to the meet's actual start time, and meets stay visible across every Home section through the entire day they happen - next attending, soonest nearby, upcoming and nearby rails.
  • Two Coming Up rows that don't collide. If your next attending meet is the same as the closest nearby meet, Home now falls back to the second-closest nearby instead of dropping a row, so both pieces of context stay informative.
  • Faster garage access from Profile. Tapping a car in the Profile garage strip opens the full car detail directly. The expanded Garage view now shows a + button in each section header even when the section already has cars.
  • Smarter Join Meet picker. Only currently owned cars are offered when RSVPing. Past Cars and Dream Cars are excluded so you don't accidentally attend in a car you no longer own.
  • Better color picking when adding a car. The color picker now sits directly under the car photo in both Add Car and Edit Car, so the eyedropper can sample from the photo you just attached.
  • Bug fixes and UI/UX updates. Includes notification deep-link routing, schema-backed display name on spots, denormalized fields for faster feed reads, and several smaller polish items across Home and Garage.
April 20, 2026 v1.3.5

A smarter Home screen, safer meet links, and better reliability

Version 1.3.5 makes Strada feel faster, clearer, and more dependable: Home now puts your key actions and activity first, meet links are easier to trust, and the app handles busy servers or weak connections more gracefully.

  • Home is easier to use. The Home screen now opens around your activity, quick posting, nearby meets, upcoming events, and recent spots instead of making you swipe through a large carousel first.
  • Better meet discovery. Browse Meets is now a dedicated, image-first page, and the calendar opens as a focused meet-browsing sheet with clearer loading, empty states, and full-width result rows.
  • Safer RSVP and info links. Meet organizers can add RSVP and supporting links, and Strada now checks links, shows the destination before opening Safari, and gives you a quick way to report suspicious links.
  • More reliable posting. If car detection, content checks, or CloudKit are temporarily busy, pending spots now stay queued with clearer statuses instead of failing with generic errors.
  • Cleaner visual polish. The shared C12 theme now uses crisper light and dark surfaces, stronger card depth, improved launch/sign-in branding, and more accent-color support across Home, maps, meet actions, and activity indicators.
  • Garage accents and profile improvements. Accent Color can now use a saved paint color from any current My Cars vehicle, profiles show join month/year, and garages remain reachable even when someone has no current cars listed.
  • Bug fixes and UI/UX updates. Includes fixes for terms acceptance persistence, past-meet scrolling performance, recent spot sorting, meet attendee car colors, safer blocked-domain checks, clearer offline/rate-limit messaging, and multiple Home/detail-screen refinements.
April 13, 2026 v1.3.4

Cleaner meets, new activity feed, and faster leaderboard loading

This update focuses on polish and performance: meet flyers are easier to read, activity is now centralized, and leaderboard loading is more efficient.

  • Better meet flyer display. Meet images now preserve portrait and wide layouts more reliably across cards and detail views, so flyer content is less likely to be cut off.
  • New Activity feed. Home now includes an Activity sheet with "Your Activity" and "In Your Area," plus quick filtering and easier cleanup controls.
  • Liked Posts as your saved spot view. Profile now provides a dedicated place to revisit posts you've liked/bookmarked and jump directly into the public post detail screen.
  • Faster leaderboard fetches. Leaderboard data now loads from a cached backend snapshot path, reducing heavy client-side fetch work.
April 3, 2026 v1.3.3

Faster launch, better sharing, and a new onboarding experience

This update makes the app load significantly faster, fixes sharing so your photos actually show up, and welcomes new users with an interactive setup wizard.

  • Faster launch. Rebuilt the startup pipeline - data loads in parallel instead of one-by-one, so you see content on screen much sooner.
  • Share with images. When you share a spot or meet, the actual photo is now included in the share sheet instead of just a link.
  • New onboarding. First-time users now get a guided setup: add a profile photo, link your socials, add your first car, and discover what the app has to offer - all before hitting the home screen.
  • Progressive home loading. Home sections now appear individually as they load instead of waiting for everything to finish first.

Profiles, social links, and a UX polish pass

This update brings profile photos, other-user profiles, social media links, and a 28-point UX audit that touches nearly every detail screen in the app.

  • Profile photos. Add a profile picture from your camera roll with a built-in cropper. Your photo now appears on your profile, on leaderboard rows, and on the podium.
  • Other-user profiles. Tap any spotter's @handle to view their profile, stats, garage, and social links.
  • Social media links. Add your Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok handles in Edit Profile - they show up on your profile and on other users' profiles as tappable links.
  • Private accounts. Toggle your account to private in Settings - other users can still see your profile and stats, but your spotted posts and garage stay hidden.
  • Double-tap to like. Double-tap the hero image on any spotted post to like it - complete with an Instagram-style heart animation.
  • Tappable like chips. The likes stat chip on spot details now toggles like/unlike directly - no more hunting for a separate button.
  • Better hero images. Reduced gradient fade on spot and meet detail sheets so more of the image is visible.
  • Edit Profile shortcut. A quick link below your username on the Profile tab takes you straight to your profile settings.
March 12, 2026 v1.3.1

Faster feeds, smarter caching

This update focuses on feed reliability and performance - smoother scrolling, fewer redundant loads, and images that stay cached between sessions.

  • Persistent image caching. Feed and card images now cache to disk, so they load instantly on relaunch instead of re-downloading every time.
  • Live indicator on spotted cards. Currently live posts now show a green dot with a LIVE badge directly on the grid card.
  • Cleaner spotted cards. Card headers are less cluttered - smaller text, the LIVE badge moved to the bottom-right corner, and admin flagging moved out of the card into the detail screen.
  • Streamlined spot details. The full-screen "More Info" jump is gone - plate details now appear inline above actions, and discover/share/report are all accessible directly in-feed.
  • Smoother feed scrolling. Larger page sizes and a single-flight request queue eliminate duplicate loads and reduce CloudKit round-trips when browsing or filtering.
  • Calendar header fix. The month header and navigation controls in Discover no longer disappear when meet decorations load.
February 26, 2026 v1.3

A full redesign across core screens

Version 1.3 introduces a full visual refresh to the screens you use most, with faster scanning, cleaner actions, and better use of space on Home.

  • Spotted post details are rebuilt. You now get a full-bleed parallax hero, quick stat chips for date/likes/time, and cleaner primary + secondary actions for faster interactions.
  • Car details are easier to read. The car profile now uses a parallax hero image, stat chips for color/status/mileage, and a structured numbered build list that is easier to scan.
  • Meet details are more focused. Meet Info now follows a clear DETAILS, ABOUT, then EXPECTED VEHICLES flow with updated Attend and Get Directions actions.
  • Garage navigation is clearer. Garage is now a full-screen three-section experience (Own, Owned, Wishlist) with horizontal paging and stronger section-level organization.
  • Home shows more content up front. Hero cards were resized to reduce vertical space so more feed content appears above the fold.
  • Important behavior fixes shipped. Map taps now open the correct spotted-post detail sheet, hero spacing issues were corrected, and meet attendance now properly supports attending without bringing a car.
February 25, 2026 v1.2.1

Performance upgrades for offline use

Spot cars without a connection - posts save locally and upload automatically when you're back online.

  • Save for Later. Capture a spot offline (or before AI detection finishes) and it queues on your device. Post it when you're ready.
  • Saved Spots tray. A badge in LiveSpot and a card in your Profile show how many spots are waiting. Tap any entry to open it pre-filled - just review and post.
  • Auto-upload. Pending spots upload automatically when the app returns to foreground with a connection.
  • Offline home screen. Stats, meets, and garage cars load from cache instantly, even with no network.
February 23, 2026 v1.2.0

Leaderboards

See how you stack up against the community. Two competitive boards track who's spotted the most unique car generations and who's covered the most of America.

  • Unique Gens board. Ranked by how many distinct car generations you've spotted in your CarDex.
  • 50 States board. Ranked by how many unique US state license plates you've spotted.
  • Trophy podium for the top 3. Gold, silver, and bronze - the top three get their own podium above the table.
  • Your rank, always visible. If you're outside the top 25, your position and the ranks around you are pinned below a separator so you never have to hunt for yourself.
February 17, 2026 v1.1.3

Smarter notifications

Push notifications are now clearer, more consistent, and more personal - you'll know exactly what happened and who made it happen.

  • Likes and meet activity now show names. When someone likes your spot or RSVPs to your meet, the notification tells you who it was.
  • Cleaner global alerts. Spot and meet notifications that aren't tied to a specific region are now short and to the point.
  • Clearer settings labels. "New Car Meets" is now "New Meets" and "Meet Attendance" is now "Meet Activity" - they say what they mean.
